More than two years ago i started to experiment a unusual and hellish experience each time i joined this web, profiles, gallerys, goups submission systems... everything went wrong, started working slowly and soon it started to just don't work. I tryed everything  to fix that but nothing seem to work so at the end i was forced to reduce my activity here at the minimum and just submit works from time to time. It was a hard decission because i love this community, i have watched great artists here and their works inspires and pushes me to go further with my own work, deviant art was a self-pushing tool for me, but sadly i lost any hope about and i had asumd that my social media working plataform shall be my facebook artist page (which btw is [link] )
Yesterday playing with the fucking router's firmware i found a thing that no one fucking technician of my fucking ISP was able to suggest or even imagine... THE FUCKING ROUTER FIREWALL THINKS THAT DEVIANTART IS ATTACKING HIM AND THAT'S WHY IT BLOCKS DEVIANTART!!!

Well, now everything works fine. I know that many of you are migrating to facebook and that but i'm very happy to say I'M BACK HERE, enthusiastic with the idea of to grow looking your artworks growing.

A year ago *liransz and I collaborated in our work TECHNIFICATION mixing her dark dolls style with my dark cybernetics biomechanicals and we loved the results, we thought that it was so strong and that we should explore a bit more that path, that way born *Sugarflesh a therm that mix well the two concepts we want to explore, cuteness/romanticism - dark/biomech.

We would like to find our propper path and that you enjoy our works.
We will still submitting wallpapers of the works periodically, remember to check it out.

We have entitled this release as "Symphony" because we want to bring a visual concert to your house, generated from a common passion that unites us as artists: Music. We have given room for expression and creation, reinterpreting our favourite tracks, genres and authors, from classical music to industrial tunes, from black metal to dance pop, travelling through a wide spectrum of shades to bring you a diverse but coherent collection. We are sure that you will find some of your favourite music themes visually re-created in this exhibition from the personal visions of the collective's artists, since we have material for everyone's tastes. Plus! Don't miss out the tracks that our musicians have created for this release, getting inspired by classical works of art and moreover, from the very visual pieces of this art-pack!

We offer you a moment to get delighted, relaxed and to let yourself go. We hope you enjoy it and don't forget to turn the volume up!

Hysterical Minds se complace en anunciar su debut expositivo de manera internacional en la feria de arte Parallax Art Fair que tendrá lugar de los días 15 a 18 de Mayo en el antiguo ayuntamiento de Chelsea (Londres).

Después de dos exitosos lanzamientos como Shadowness y Twisted Essence y la publicación de nuestra opera prima editorial, Retrospectiva, volvemos a salir de la pantalla de tu casa para darnos un nuevo paseo por la tridimensionalidad para que puedas vernos en vivo y en directo.

Pondremos a vuestra disposición una exposición de 20 piezas de artistas de este colectivo (alguna de ellas, inéditas), además de una conferencia en la que desentrañaremos la historia y esencia del colectivo. Además, durante la duración de la feria contaremos con un pequeño stand donde podréis acercaros para pedir información o para saludar. Contaremos también con varios ejemplares de nuestro libro Retrospectiva. ¡Nos encontrarás fácilmente por el gigantesco banner que indica donde estamos!

Hysterical Minds is proud to announce its international debut with an exhibition that will be held at the Parallax Art Fair from the 15th to the 18th of May in the Chelsea old Town Hall, London.

After two successful releases such as Shadowness and Twisted Essence, and the publication of our editorial opera prima Retrospectiva, we get out of your home screen again to walk around on the third dimension so you can see us live.

We will showcase a collection of 20 pieces from the collective artists (some of them still unreleased), and we will be giving a conference about the artgroup's history and goals. Also, during the event we will have a little stand in which you can come by to ask for information or just to say hello! We will have there some copies of our book Retrospectiva. You will easily find us by the giant banner that points out our way!

We want to thank our artists for their participation in this project, and we wish a great reception of their artworks in London: Martín Thompson, Martín de Diego Sádaba, Liran Szeiman, Sabrina Fernández, Mario S. For this release, we wanted to devise the pack using new working methods, so we proposed a dual theme to handicap it and to stimulate the creativity of our artists. In one hand, essence makes reference to the human nature: chaotic, confusing, volatile and full of blendings, from gloom to brightness, from pale to full color... creating a conglomeration of meanings that travel from the grotesque and the cruel to the ironic, going through fantasy or psychedelia.

On the other hand, twisted gives that altered, spontaneous, and at times, even macabre connotation that we have focused not only as a conceptual matter, but above all, as a compositive one: You won't see any centred pieces on the canvas. We have been working using alternative composition rules, such as the rule of thirds or the golden ratio, to get out the confort zone, and to offer a dynamic, narrative, polished and above all, full of shades visual experience, which accompanied with its eclectic and evocative soundtrack, will guide you through the created worlds of these hysterical imaginations.

I hope you enjoy it as much as we did creating it! It's a masterpack, so come and see!

It was really hard work putting this book together, but it was worth it.

HYSTERICAL MINDS TOURNAMENT
SPEED PAINTING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Digital painters from around the world will contest for the Speed Painting World Champion title in this Hysterical Minds' tournament. Any contestant from any country and language will be welcome.

To take part just send an e-mail to hystericalminds@hotmail.com  with the subject "SPWC", letting us know you want to take part and your details: name, e-mail address, nationality and portfolio, and time frame (expressed in GMT time) when they are available to compete. (or just send me a note here in DA)

Contestants will be grouped in couples, a date and time will be agreed and will compete against each other so one of them will be eliminated as the other one goes through to the next round.  Fights will be one hour long, before which a subject  will be asigned for them to produce a painting in any way they choose.

These competitions will take place through Livestreaming and amissions from both contestants will be reproduced simultaneously in an activity page (as this one [link] ), created to that effect, in other to make an easier  judgement as to who the winner is.  

Once the introductory round finishes, a second classificatory one will begin, or quarter finals, semifinals and final, after which the winner wil get a champion belt (this is a matter of prestige rather than money) an icon that only champions and ex-champions recognised in the official list will be allowed to use and exhibit it in any portfolio, webpage or blog, as a prize in recognition for the talent of the chapiom.

In the introductory round the decision will be made by a designated jury, and in following rounds it will be made by popular vote. In both cases the assessing criteria will be:
- composition
- colour
- morphology (shape reliability, or drawing, as many paint stains rather than draw)
- concept
- finishing
- if finished in time

El colectivo artístico Hysterical Minds, en colaboración con la comunidad artística Shadowness.com, presenta su octava expresión, HM8:SHADOWNESS, exhibición para la cual cada artista ha dado su visión personal de su lado mas oscuro, a través de distintos estilos y una gran variedad de conceptos, creando un conjunto inquietante, de gran calidad y afrontando el duro reto de subir un escalón cualitativo en nuestra dinámica de crecimiento, razones por las cuales, en conjunto, estamos seguros que no pasara desapercibido.

Enfocados en una dinámica estética mas ilustrativa y un concepto oscuro afrontando un proyecto de libro artístico que próximamente verá la luz encargado por una editorial, hemos desarrollado esta exhibición a medio camino entre la forma habitual de trabajar las exhibiciones grupales de un colectivo, por un lado, y una dinámica de trabajo similar a la de un estudio profesional de ilustración, por otro, tratando de estar a la altura de las circunstancias de este proyecto de doble dirección, y potenciando mas que nunca antes en nuestro grupo la crítica constructiva y la dirección creativa, poniéndonoslo difícil a nosotros mismos.

Esperamos que el público comprenda el doble enfoque que caracterizará el resultado de la presente exhibición, y que os guste éste el fruto de nuestros esfuerzos.

The Hysterical Minds artistic collective, in collaboration with the artistic community Shadowness.com, presents its eighth expression, HM8:SHADOWNESS, exhibition for which each artist has his personal vision of his darker side, through different styles and a variety of concepts, creating a disturbing set, of high quality and facing the tough challenge of raising a qualitative step in our growth dynamics, reasons why, together, we are sure you will not go unnoticed.

Focusing on a more illustrative esthetic dynamic and a dark concept, facing an art book project that will be released soon commissioned by a publishing company, we have developed this exhibit midway between the usual way of working the grupal exhibitiones of a collective on the one hand, and a similar workflow to a professional illustration studio on the other, and enhancing more than ever before in our group the constructive criticism and creative direction, putting it more difficult to ourselves.

We hope that the public understands the dual focus that will characterize the outcome of this exhibition, and that you like the fruit of our efforts.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Since New Era's release three months ago, the reception the slashTHREE staff and artists have received for this project has been mind-blowing. It was on show at OFFF 2011, as well as SIGGRAPH 2011 and on our very own online shop. We are proud to report that the "New Era" books have been completely sold out, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for the overwhelming amount of support.

Today however, the collective proudly unveils its seventeenth exhibition, an exhibition in which the artists were asked to reflect on some of the literature that inspires them in their daily lives. Each piece in "Quote/Unquote" is based on a quote – famous, cultural, or even from the artist's own life – and is created to represent that quote and its meaning to the artist. The result is a library of 60 of the collective's finest and most personally meaningful works to date.

Just before the New Era project was launched, slashTHREE welcomed Tarin Yuangtrakul, a 19 year old artist from Thailand. Tarin's impact on the collective was instantaneous, and his two submissions to "Quote/Unquote" demonstrate the progress he has made as an artist since joining the collective, and showed true dedication to the exhibition. Tarin's sublime mixture of traditional and digital art was something new which captivated the entire artist core. Tarin Yuangtrakul has become not only the first traditional artist to be named as the "featured artist" for a slashTHREE exhibition, but also the youngest artist in slashTHREE's history to receive the honour. Site Director Saad Moosajee sat down with Tarin to discuss life and art; you can read the interview here.

Since the release of 'Paradigm Shift' and our new website, the SlashTHREE collective has been working feverishly on several new projects. The first of which, dubbed the "New Era" project, has been one of the most ambitious and well received in the collective's history. We were humbled by the invitation to present at this years OFFFestival in Barcelona where we unveiled 'New Era' for the first time.

The project showcases 21 never before seen pieces in addition to 20 'classics' from the last several exhibitions we have dubbed the 'hertigage' section. · First of all I have to say i'm so sorry to be so away from here lately.
I don't know what the hell happens qith my internet line, specially with deviantart, it goes well for 5 minutes or less and then stops completely to load anything, for other 5 or 10 minutes, later it goes well again but soon again stops, it happens constantly and that's annoying, it makes me don't like to enter DA and it happened for many many months, at least since september or maybe before. I was months without knowing where was the problem, lately i found it's cause my ISP or the router but as i was very busy and it only happens with DA i had no time to test another router (step before to send my ISP to hell).
Also i was very busy among commissions and hystericalminds.com additional projects.
Anyway i have many pretty new works and fresh news to share and i'll do it soon. I hope to resolve asap this problem  definitely.

Con 98 trabajos en total, mas calidad que nunca, nuevo logotipo, nueva web, nuevo skin, nuevo patrocinador y nuevo espíritu comenzamos el 2011. La sexta exhibición de nuestro colectivo "Le glamour, l'amour et la morte" ha costado tinta, sudor y lágrimas, pero al fin ha llegado como un viento fresco con la realidad de la renovación y la esperanza del crecimiento. Enhorabuena y muchas gracias a todos los que habéis participado, pero especialmente a Martin Thompson (alias Bolverk) por su tremenda e incansable dedicación y a CreativityStorm.com por su ayuda técnica y económica. With a total of 98 artworks, better quality than ever, a new logo, new website, new skin, new sponsor, and a renewed spirit we begin the year 2011. The sixth exhibition of our collective, entitled "Le glamour, l'amour et la morte", has taken blood, sweat, tears and ink, but has finally arrived like a cool breeze with the reality of renovation and hope for growth.
